Amnesty International has concluded that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) committed crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing in el-Fasher, North Darfur. The report detailed widespread atrocities during the RSF's 18-month siege, including the deliberate targeting of children through killing, injury, rape, abduction, and forced recruitment. Non-Arab communities, particularly the Zaghawa, were allegedly targeted with ethnic slurs, and villages were burned to prevent returns, consistent with ethnic cleansing.
